Crystal Springs is one of the most beautiful villas on the island - a magnificent estate set in 1.7 acres of tropical gardens directly on a small, secluded beach cove offering excellent swimming and snorkeling. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and feature fountain pools and waterfalls. The villa is constructed entirely of coral stone and consists of five pavilions set amongst the gardens. The main house was originally constructed in the 1940's and was redesigned by Oliver Messel in the 1960's. The Messel touch is evident in the dramatic columns and archways and elegant old world architectural details. Marble and stone floors accentuate the elegant ambience of this tropical paradise. Built on two levels, the villa is designed in several parts. The main house contains three air-conditioned bedrooms with en-suite baths, the large living area, the formal dining room, the kitchen and the romantic alfresco dining terrace. Two of the bedrooms in the main house are located on the upper level. The remaining bedrooms of the villa are located in the annex, cottage and pavilion next to the gym. The Cottage offers a bedroom and en-suite bathroom as well as a separate sitting room and terrace. The Pavilion offers another two bedrooms with a connecting door and en-suite bathrooms. Also, on the grounds is a Games Pavilion with an air-conditioned mini-gym with exercise bike and multi-purpose exercise machine. A movie theater provides ten reclining chairs with Direct TV, ice machine and refrigerator. Outside, there is a large private swimming pool with sunbathing terrace set amongst the spectacular gardens. Crystal Springs is a spacious and deluxe home that affords guests great privacy on a small private sandy beach cove with an exceptional staff of ten. Full rate rentals include the use of a 22' Sea Ray Bow Rider speedboat (1 pair of water skis and 1 slalom ski) and boatman. This option is only available for eight bedroom reservations and the cost of oil and gas is the responsibility of the guests and is not included.
